Digital guarantees are legally valid and will replace traditional paper guarantees through the new process. Standard Bank has adhered to all compliance and regulatory requirements to eliminate any added risk.
- Enjoy peace of mind with a beneficiary verification portal that allows you to verify that a digital domestic guarantee was legitimately issued by the bank.
- You have the option to download and email a PDF version or print the guarantee for your beneficiary, and we will courier the issued guarantee should that be required.
- The claim process on a bank guarantee will remain unchanged until the process is also digitised in the future.
